With Love

WITH LOVE

I experienced love before
It made me feel so much more
The feeling can't really be explained
All of my senses never remained

With love, my heart becomes a blender
For so many weird emotions begin to enter
Sometimes I feel weird deep inside
It's like a roller coaster I like to ride

It has ups and downs, smiles and some frowns
I swim and I sink, and probably drown
I fly and I dive, I'm so lucky to be alive
Sometimes I get lost my way back to my hive

With love I feel great
With love, not hate
It feels like I'm in heaven with angels singing
With sweet bells and wind chimes ringing

Love's like a dream come true
Colors come to life, pinks and some blues
With love that's so true
Well that's what I feel, How about you?

Normal Person

NORMAL PERSON

I am just a normal person living in this world
I can sometimes be warm and sometimes be cold
I can have my emotions and change my mode
And have friends as I travel the road

I also have my feelings and secrets I hide
Sometimes I'm happy and sometimes hurt inside
My secrets, I always keep them a mystery
Especially my childhood that's full of misery

I grow up, learn, and make mistakes
I work, study, and take some breaks
In times of darkness where there is no light
I'd be strong and stand up to fight

I can't succeed all the time, I also fall
My dreams are blocked by so many walls
I get my fists and break them all down
I won't let this smile turn into a frown

I am so inspired by this light shining
With this light I shall keep winning
But the hardest part is what they want me to be
They want me to be anything but me

This time, I'll trust no one
For all my trust has been gone
I know myself better than anyone else
I won't be a prisoner inside my cell

I won't give up, I'll continue soaring
I'll keep standing and keep winning
I wont be anyone else but me
I'll keep shining and being happy

The World

THE WORLD

How beautiful the world is for what's in it,
The colors of flowers, the silence of the sea;
The bees and birds singing, the leaves happily dancing,
This is just the beginning it's beauty;

The sun roams to monitor its kingdom,
He shines so brightly to see them all;
After that, his wife takes over,
The moon continues the job of the king fire ball;

She brings with her their children, the stars,
The little diamonds that spark in the beautiful sky;
That's not all, there are the clouds,
The cute fluffy pillows soaring up high;

The pillows when sad, turns dark and gloomy,
They cry and cry until the gloom disappears;
The water in streams flow happily as it seems,
They flow to the sea, so deep and clear;

The earth blows and sings, the gentle breeze,
It gently touches our face and cools some things;
The animals here are with different shapes,
Some two legs, four legs, and some shaped like strings;

With all these, nobody can't be unhappy,
Everyone is filled with joy and with wide smiles;
Let's make this our inspiration and our guide,
It can boost us to miles;

Letting Go

LETTING GO

Just to get his heart, I wanna do everything,
I can win it, that's what I kept believing;
I am the one who kept approaching him,
With a shy mood and low esteem;

I practiced everything I wanna say,
Things just for our love to stay;
But as my mouth opens, I lose my nerves,
And lose all those sweet words;

I wanna tell him what I'm feeling, but I don't know how to start,
It seems that I'm so afraid that he might break my heart;
Many walls are built to keep us apart,
I wanna break them all down just to get his heart;

I wanna be with him, nothing can change that,
But he's happy with someone else, it makes me really sad;
I can't hold on anymore to something I never had,
I'll just accept it, as long as he is glad.

High School Musical 3

Out of the blue a movie was made and became a big hit.. It's the High School Musical. Because of its success, a sequel was made. High School Musical 2 was created. It also became a hit. After the success of the first two movies, they decided to release the third installment in theaters. High School Musical 3: Senior Year was released.

Because the first two movies was likable, I jumped into conclusion that this will be a great movie too. I went out with my friends to see this movie. I became so excited. I was shocked because the movie is way better the first two movies. It was beyond my expectations. Dance numbers and the music are great! The story focuses on what the main characters is planning for their future, college, while introducing some new characters for future HSM's I guess. The plot was great! The characters are focusing on making a school play about themselves. What could be a better challenge than being yourself? Just like Ms. Darbus said. ^^ But then, the movie also became emotional because it is where the characters go on separate ways. We have to say goodbye to their characters.

I was impressed by the acting of Ashley Tisdale just like her acting in the first two. She was the antagonist in the first two movies, but in this one she is not like that anymore. I guess she only becomes mean when she wants something. In the first movie, she wanted the lead roles for the play. She doesn't want anyone to break the streak of his brother and hers in theater. In the second one, she wanted to have a great talent show and to win Troy. And this this one.. she wanted to have the Julliard scholarship so that's why she does anything to get it. Her so called personal assistant took advantage of her. Tiara became a diva herself. She took the role of Sharpay in the Spring Musical. We all know Sharpay. She won't let herself be beaten by a newbie. So she dressed up in her costume and went down on stage while Tiara is singing. They had a major showdown. I was like "there is really only one Sharpay Evans".But then, with all her efforts, she still lost. She moved on after that and became happy for her brother.

Prayer at bed time

This is a prayer I knew when I was just little. I used to pray this every time before I go to sleep. I just wanna share:

Mark, Matthew, Luke and John
Bless this bed that I sleep on
Four corners has my bed
Four good angels at my head
One to watch and one to pray
And two to take my soul away

Gothic Life

People living in the darkness
People living in the dirt
They're lives became such a mess
They even forgot forgot their own worth
People living with great pain
They hide their faces because of shame
They like dancing in the rain
And somewhat proud of their dirty name
People thirst for power and wealth
They were overpowered by greed
They forgot how it felt
Working hard for what they need
They keep it all to themselves
Won't share for they don't really care
They treat others like working elves
Making life so unfair
People with crab mentality
Meant to bring you down
They wanna take away your popularity
And turn that smile into a frown
I know how dark it is
And that's just life
Sinning is others' expertise
As I said, It's just life

The Compassionate Shepherd (Gothic version)

I will make thee bed of nails
For you also have horns and tails
Come with me to the eternal flame
And suffer greatly that you'll forget your name
Your desires will be filled
But your soul will be surely killed
Every time you covet
You're making a deal with death
So if these things move you, just tell
And come with me to the flames in hell

hectic schedule

Wow! That's my impression of this current school year. I started out dancing on programs then I ended up in being in the dance troupe. That's no problem at all for I really love dancing. The year started out fine until my schedule became hectic. During Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, I have Volleyball training. That's important for I am a utility player (a player who is fit for all positions: tosser, spiker and libero). And during Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays, I have dance workshop. After my Saturday dance workshop I have gymnastics. Man! That's one hectic schedule. I only have one day for resting and I hate that. I wanted to be fat again but how can I with all these activities?

There's a time in a school year where we need to prepare for the opening of our intramural. I focused on that. I missed all of my appointments just to prepare. I was one of our choreographers then. Then here comes the opening. Our performance was not that well but with all our efforts put into the dance, we're just like winners.

Heartbroken

i just used the word "him" for it is sometimes a general word referring to any person either a male or a female..

Every time I think of him
I'm dreaming that we're both in a film
But I became heartbroken
Shocked, lonely and then shaken
He loves someone, not me
Someone whom he loves truly
But what qualities does that person has,
Qualities that I don't have? That's a blast
knowing it from another
Now I know some secrets should be kept forever
Now that I know, my world was torn apart
Something was crushed, I think it's my heart
I love him, I really do love him
But knowing that, my world became dim
I don't know what to do anymore
One thing's sure.. I don't want his feeling no more..

to be strong when surrounded by fire;
But I can't hide the fact that the one,

People fear the most horrifying,
Death that decides if they're worth killing;

People living without realizing,
That death may come any moment;
People, without fear, always vandalyzing,
Will be killed by death, then they'll be silent;
Forever they'll be trapped in hell,
Suffering from strong harsh flames;
By then they won't be able to tell,
Nor describe how grossly they ruined their name;

Perfect Day

this is my second poem. I wrote it during my happy times for my happiness is my Inspiration for this one.

The plants are swaying, the flowers are waving,
The shores are silent, The sun is shining;
The bees are buzzing, The people are smiling,
The couples are warm, tender and loving;

This is a perfect day for me,
Nothing shall go wrong;
The people are out with their family,
The sun is shining strong;

The people smiling filled with care,
Help each other out;
Nowadays they always share,
This is perfect, I have no doubt;

The lights are shining brightly,
The day is filled with treats;
The children are getting naughty,
Naughty but still sweet;

Children obey their parents,
They study and they play;
Running, laughing, playing pretend,
Then, they call it a day;

The teens are busy with their studies,
Serious and studying hard;
Some hang out with their buddies,
Buddies that meet their standards;

Some adults are busy,
Busy from day 'til night;
Working until they're dizzy,
Giving their family some light;

Oh what a perfect day,
Nothing DID go wrong;
No one stood in others' way,
The sun kept shining strong;

HARRY POTTER AND THE HALF-BLOOD PRINCE

Here is the Plot of the Movie..

**MAJOR SPOILERS**

Harry Potter's sixth year at Hogwarts turns out to be quite the exciting year. First off is the arrival of a new teacher at Hogwarts, Horace Slughorn, who is a bit more useful to Harry than he realizes. Next, Harry obtains a Potions book which used to be belong to the very mysterious Half-Blood Prince. Harry finds that the Half-Blood Prince's ancient scribbles are written along the margins of almost every page, giving Harry advice on how to improve greatly on his Potions work, and also teaching him a few helpful (and dangerous) spells along the way.

Amidst this, Harry is starting private lessons with Professor Dumbledore, during which Harry learns the dark secrets of Voldemort's past, hoping that they could use these secrets to find a way to defeat him.

Harry's year gets even more stressful with the suspicious actions of Draco Malfoy, who has been sneaking around the school doing, so Harry assumes, Voldemort's bidding. Harry quickly becomes determined, and slightly obsessed, to find out exactly what Malfoy has been up to and putting and end to it.

Yet, during this time, Harry and his friends go through daily life, busy with school work, Quidditch, (in which Harry has been made captain of the team) and of course, romance. Ron has found a new girlfriend, Lavender Brown, a perky (if not obnoxious) Gryffindor student, and Hermione is not happy about it. Ron and Hermione's friendship takes a toll throughout the school year and Harry, as usual, is stuck in the middle. Harry, meanwhile, is facing a romantic dilemma of his own: he realizes he is falling for his best friend's sister, Ginny Weasley, who is unfortunately dating Harry's classmate, Dean Thomas. Harry's pining for Ginny and Ron's hilarious relationship with Lavender give this story a large dose of reality.

Throughout all the school drama, however, the obvious darkness of Voldemort's impending rise to power is always apparent. The incredible action-packed climax is sure to leave the audience stunned and, inevitably, prove that you shouldn't trust everybody who you think is good and also prove that not everyone can manage to survive.

own poem

during my free time, i write stuff. I decided to write a poem. Here's how it goes:

In these years I've been living my life,
I can't believe I stayed alive;
In times that darkness surrounds me,
I can't seem to break free;
People always bring me down,
In their words, I always drown;
Rumors about me always scatter,
To make my reputation shatter;
Bad things are thought about me,
They think that will make them happy;
But they're wrong, so wrong,
Whatever happens, I will always be strong;
Stones may hurt my bones but words will never hurt,
Making myself affected doesn't have worth;
They bring me down for I am above them,
But it won't work for hard is my stem.

Am I unlucky when it comes to love?,
Maybe it's against the will of the One above;
People enter my life trying to love me,
I told them that they should know me;
Whatever I do, my love always backfires,
It's like I'm always walking on thin wire;
I love with all my heart, I don't even know why,
Sometimes, they say I'm the bad guy;
They fool me and take me for granted,
I don't even know what they really wanted;
I feel like I don't wanna love anymore,
And be as peaceful as a shore;
But there's this wound in my heart,
Whatever I do, my heart is still torn apart;
I can't seem to find the one,
Who'll make this wound in my heart gone;
My heart is always bleeding,
I wish someone would take away my suffering.

Well that's it..

FeEdInG PrOgRaM

Every year in our CLE class, there are things we should do for our project that makes up 20% of our grade. During the 2nd year, we are asked to join a parish involvement group where we will assist children during mass. This year, there are two activities, Feeding Program and Gawad Kalinga.

In the feeding program we are asked to assist children to eat. We went to our school's parish, St. Dominic Savio Parish. When we got there, the first thing that came to my mind is food for I know we will assist them in eating. That's what I'm expecting. But a surprise came. We are asked to tutor a child. Well, that's a surprise but I felt happy. At first, I felt shy for I just knew my partner, the glooming, happy and smart Rica. I asked questions about her. She is in 4th grade and really loves mathematics. That's what we focused on, Mathematics. I asked questions in mathematics and she is really good at it. I taught her some of my techniques in mathematics and taught her new stuff. We really got along so well that I really treated her as my younger sister. After the tutorial, I noticed the big smile on her face. She even introduced me to her mom. I felt very happy for I know that my help, even though it's not that big of a help, is appreciated and is put into good use. I guided her throughout the activity. I even assisted her in getting her food.

The most painful and happiest part is the "good-bye" part. Why is it the most painful? It is because we got along well and is really close to each other now and we only spent two hours together then it's "bye-bye". And why is it the happiest? It is the happiest part for I know my help is really appreciated and I know she learned something from me. I really wanted to do things like this and it came true.

There's only one important thing I've learned in this activity. I learned that even as a student, I can help in my little own way. And my help will surely be put into good use.

Friendz

Everyday in our lives, we encounter different kinds of people. There are people that are gentle, rushy, harsh, and many more. But despite these traits, they all have friends no matter what. We meet people and we communicate with them. Through means of communication, friendship forms. As time pass by, we become more familiar with our friends making us know their attitudes, their hobbies and their mood. Knowing these, it'll make us help them easier in their problems. Yes, it's true we all indeed have friends but what kind of friends do we have?

True Friend:
A true friend will be there for you in ups and downs. They help you in every problem you have. They lend their hand to you even knowing that they will risk something for helping you. They support you in your everything that happens in your life. They entered your life as if they are really chosen to be your guide, partner or whatever you want to call it. In happy times, they cheer for you. They celebrate with you. In sad times, they will always be there to cheer you up. They offer their shoulders for you to cry on. They help you no matter what. True friends accept you for who you are. In fact, they know you by heart. They know what you feel without even talking to them. A true friend is someone you should really cherish. Don't let them exit your life. It's normal having fights with your friends. But when in a fight, all sides (you and your friend) both feel sorry. They apologize in the right time and place. So don't let it happen that your true friend will just walk away and never return. Let them know you always welcome them in your heart.

Peer Pressure friends:
These are friends that affect you, your personality and your hobbies. There are three types of peer pressure: positive, negative and neutral. Positive peer pressure is a kind where you will develop traits of your friends that will help you in life. In neutral, nothing happens. In negative, it's really obvious. It's a kind where you will develop bad traits of your friends ruining your reputation and your own self. Pick the right friends to have a better self.

Friend A:
I don't know how to call this kind of friends. They are friends that will just be there in your ups. They cheer and celebrate for you. But when it comes to rainy days in your life, they will just disappear. It's as if they don't know you at all. It's as if you never met.

Friend B:
I don't know how to call this friends too. They are the people who will just be there beside you because of money. They will pretend to be so kind and sweet to you not knowing they're only there because of your riches. It's either you have lots of money they can borrow or you have debts to them that they will only approach you when they want you to pay for your debt.

FAKE friends:
Can be called plastics or hypocrites. They are soo totally fake. You shouldn't call them friends at all! They pretend to be a good friend but when you turn your back, they say stuff about you ruining your reputation.

Now, knowing these kinds of friends.. You should pick the right friends. It's like a strategy, pick the right friends and you'll be rich (not literally), pick the wrong friends, your life is ruined. Pick the right friends and be happy about it for they will always be there for you.

V-Ball Anger!!

I really became fond of Volleyball coz ir's a fun game. I really liked it. So that's why I dedicated myself to volleyball. I never wanna miss a single practice but there's an exception of course, emergencies.

One day before our practice my legs began to sore. It hurts for every step I take. I'm having a hard time climbing stairs. So I had double thoughts on going to our practice the next day. I chose to go for 2 of my friends will go and that will be the first time we see each other for months.

So i went to practice in our school. I did my best even though my legs hurt. I still tried to run. I did everything but my teammate said a bad word to me.. That ruins my whole day. I know I'm A Perky Goth, goths who hide their true emotions and pretends to be happy. But this time, I wasn't able to hide my anger. I cried so I could loosen. I cried so I can free myself from my anger. I was comforted by my friends. So I stopped crying.

You know, captain balls are supposed to encourage their teammates and lighten them up. They aren't suppose to scold them and say bad words to them. This causes the team to lose teamwork for the players lose their composure and their confidence in the game. No matter how good players can perform, if the captain ball is bitchy, then nothing will happen..

I'm not used to being suddenly tired after resting for many days. I felt tired really fast and began to be dizzy. My sight is kinda blur and my head hurts. Even with the pain and the dizziness, I just continued to participate. Whew!

A More-Than-A-12-Hour Flight!

Well as the title sounds, It's a very tiring Flight! Man!! Imaging sitting still for more than 12 hours!! Okay, so here is how the story goes..

On March 27, my mom and I went to Riyadh to visit my father. On May 20, my parents and I went to Jeddah to visit my sister and my nephews and niece. So here comes the long trip, May 22.

Our flight is at about 7:00pm. We got to the airport at around 5:00pm. We checked in our baggages and went to the waiting area. We got on board at around 6:00pm. 1 hour left 'til takeoff. Our flight stopped over at Riyadh. It took about 1:45 (hr:mins) to get there. So few people got off the plane heading Riyadh and many people boarded in to go to Manila. The plane stayed in Riyadh for about 2 hours. The officers need to clean and prepare the meals for the passengers. Flight total: 3:45. Our plane took off heading to Hong Kong. The flight took for about 7:45. Some people boarded in to go to Manila. Our plane stayed there for about 1:30. Total Flight: 12:00. Heading Manila, our flight took 1:08. We got there. Now, we're so excited to get off the plane. But a technical problem occurred. It's either the door of the plane won't budge or the tube is malfunctioning. So it took us about 30 minutes standing there waiting to get off. So our plane went to other gates and we successfully got off the plane.

So what's the total number of hours? 13 hours and 38 minutes. WHAT A DAY!!

Volleyball

Volleyball is a sport invented by William Morgan. He called it Volleyball because the players need to volley the over and over. The court is 18 meters long and 9 meters wide.

Each team consists of six players. To get play started, a team is chosen to serve by coin toss. A player from the serving team (the server) throws the ball into the air and attempts to hit the ball so it passes over the net on a course such that it will land in the opposing team's court (the serve). The opposing team must use a combination of no more than three contacts with the volleyball to return the ball to the opponent's side of the net. These contacts usually consist first of the bump or pass so that the ball's trajectory is aimed towards the player designated as the setter; second of the set (usually an over-hand pass using wrists to push finger-tips at the ball) by the setter so that the ball's trajectory is aimed towards a spot where one of the players designated as an attacker can hit it, and third by the attacker who spikes (jumping, raising one arm above the head and hitting the ball so it will move quickly down to the ground on the opponent's court) to return the ball over the net. The team with possession of the ball that is trying to attack the ball as described is said to be on offense.

The team on defense attempts to prevent the attacker from directing the ball into their court: players at the net jump and reach above the top (and if possible, across the plane) of the net in order to block the attacked ball. If the ball is hit around, above, or through the block, the defensive players arranged in the rest of the court attempt to control the ball with a dig (usually a fore-arm pass of a hard-driven ball). After a successful dig, the team transitions to offense.

The game continues in this manner, rallying back and forth, until the ball touches the court within the boundaries or until an error is made.

There are positions in volleyball like setter (the one who sets the ball for the spiker to hit it), spiker (the one hitting the ball after it was set by the setter), blocker (the one who blocks the ball after the opposing team hits the ball), libero (specialized in defense. Responsible for the team's defense).

I was first interested in joing the Soccer Varsity but thought "What if I try something new?". I entered the volleyball varsity. I made it. My coach said I have potential for I can handle the ball and control where it goes. My coach assigned me as a setter for a season.

It was fun being the setter because your the one who is carrying the team. Your decision affects the team. It is also tiring because you need to be fast in getting the ball after it touches or has been passed by a teammate. We are all starters so we only won 1 game. Unfortunately, that game we won is by default! Haha!

Time for another year. I have been specializing in defense. I don't know why. Maybe because I have the greatest defense skill among my team. My coach assigned me as a libero from now on. I participated in many games especially during the Boscolympics. We won all the games during the preliminaries but we lost during the finals. It was a sad moment but it was ok. I learned something from the finals. I need to be more confident.

After that event. My coach assigned me as an all-around player. My position in the game depends on the situation.

Volleyball is a fun game! It looks easy but it's not. A player needs training for him to master it.

Harvest Moon Rhymes pt.1

I'm a member of a clan in a forums. In that clan we write Rhymes about HM.. This is my first Rhyme:

There are 4 girls that can make your heart beat fast
There are more characters in the Harvest Moon cast
A sweet farmer girl named Celia
Lives a peaceful life with Vesta
A sweet musician named Lumina
Lives at the Villa with Romana
A bartender’s friend named Muffy
Her hair is yellow and curly
A girl that lives at the inner inn named Nami
Somehow, she has a tomboy personality
These are the girls, you can marry them
You can give them gifts like a ring or a gem
In the next chapter, you’ll have a child
If he’s naughty, please don’t get wild
Go train your dog to protect your food from Murrey
If your dog is well trained, you don’t have to worry
Take care of your horse, feed him with fodder or hay
Horses come in color, maybe white or brown, I have nothing to say
Ride your horse and watch flowers bloom
Ride it fast ‘till you go zoom

Life as A Series

I find life as a TV Show, a series. In life, you meet different kinds of characters with different personalities. These characters will affect your life. They also have different twists in your plot. But these characters won't be there forever. You know, in a series some characters leave. They go to seperate paths of life. From time to time, they will come back as a special guest appearance.

Ten Years Time - GABRIELLE

I just put a music channel on and I heard this song by GABRIELLE. It really inspires me. The message of the song tells about life. I really loved this song.
Here's the lyrics:

Do you have a vision?
Do you have a goal?
I'm watching you shrugging your shoulders, telling me you just don't know.
Do you get emotional?
Is there something you're passionate about?
I can tell that you're still searching, still trying to work it all out.
It takes time.
Take your time.
Mm mmm.
You will know when it feels right.

Where you gonna be in ten years' time?
And will you be happy with the way you've been living your life?
Will you be all right?
'Cause when you're looking back to now on the years gone by,
Will there be something that you say that you should have done right in your life?

What would you fight for?
For what do you stand?
And how would you go about it? And do you have a master plan?
What are your demons?
And how much for your soul?
Or have you found religion and gone down that road?
I guess we all need something to believe.
Oh ooh oh.
Times haven't changed.
That's how it's got to be.

Where you gonna be in ten years' time?
And will you be happy with the way you've been living your life?
Will you be all right?
Yeah, yeah.
'Cause when you're looking back to now on the years gone by,
Will there be something that you say that you should have done right?
We're talking about your life.

Are you a dreamer?
Tell me all your dreams.
Can you say honestly what you want to be?
What would you do when your back's against the wall?
Would you stand on your two feet?
Would you admit defeat?
These are the times we need to be strong.
Don't you know? Don't you know that it's hard?
But we learn.
We find a way.
We got to find away to carry on.

Where you gonna be in ten years' time?
And will you be happy with the way you've been living your life?
Will you be all right?
Yeah, yeah.
'Cause when you're looking back to now on the years gone by,
Will there be something that you say that you should have done right?
We're talking about your life.Your life.

Where you gonna be in ten years' time?
And will you be happy with the way you've been living your life?
Will you be all right?
Yeah, yeah.
Cause when you're looking back to now on the years gone by,
Will there be something that you say that you should have done right?
We're talking about your life.Your life.

Can You Sleep While The Wind Blows?

Years ago, a farmer owned land along the Atlantic seacoast.
He constantly advertised for hired hands. Most people were
reluctant to work on farms along the Atlantic . They dreaded the
awful storms that raged across the Atlantic , wreaking havoc on the buildings and crops.
As the farmer interviewed applicants for the job, he received
A steady stream of refusals.

Finally, a short, thin man, well past middle age, approached
the farmer. "Are you a good farm hand?" the farmer asked him.
"Well, I can sleep when the wind blows," answered the little man.

Although puzzled by this answer, the farmer, desperate for help,
Hired him. The little man worked well around the farm, busy from
dawn to dusk, and the farmer felt satisfied with the man's work.
Then one night the wind howled loudly in from offshore.
Jumping out of bed, the farmer grabbed a lantern and rushed
next door to the hired hand's sleeping quarters. He shook the
little man and yelled, "Get up! A storm is coming!
Tie things down before they blow away!"
The little man rolled over in bed and said firmly, "No sir. I told you, I can sleep when the wind blows."

Enraged by the response, the farmer was tempted to fire him on
the spot. Instead, he hurried outside to prepare for the storm.
To his amazement, he discovered that all of the haystacks had
been covered with tarpaulins. The cows were in the barn, the chickens were in the coops, and the doors were barred.
The shutters were tightly secured. Everything was tied down.

Nothing could blow away. The farmer then understood what his
hired hand meant, so he returned to his bed to also sleep while
the wind blew.

When you're prepared, spiritually, mentally, and physically,
you have nothing to fear. Can you sleep when the
wind blows through your life?
The hired hand in the story was able to sleep because he
had secured the farm against the storm.
We secure ourselves against the storms of life bygrounding ourselves in the Word of God.
We don't need to understand, we just need to hold
His hand to have peace in the middle of storms.

A friend of mine sent this to me today,
and I enjoyed it so much, that I wanted to send it to you.
I hope you enjoy your day and you sleep well even when the wind blows.

This Visionary was Born Blind

This visionary was born blind

GOTCHA By Jarius Bondoc Monday, November 12, 2007

For four years now Fatima Soriano has been inspiring the sick and the troubled. Religious groups seek her out to grace their gatherings. She has spoken in radio and television shows, Holy Masses and prayer rallies, renewing faith in helpless folk — in the Philippines, Indonesia, Korea and Canada. Her constant counsel is to trust in God’s grace. A teleplay has been produced about her. But Fatima is blind; she has been so since birth. She is frail and short for her age of 14, for she has been sick all her life, and once was diagnosed with end-stage kidney failure. It is precisely the sufferings she went through that make adults marvel how Fatima can be so bubbly, always smiling, and talking of God’s care. Even more awesome, she melts away their distresses and ailments — through Mama Mary, she avers.

Charismatic Fr. Jerry Orbos, SVD, had discovered Fatima by happy accident. He was hosting his radio show “Hello Father” on ZNN Radio Veritas one night in July 2003 when a girl with a strained but determined voice phoned in. How come you’re still awake at this time past nine o’clock, the priest had queried? Fatima replied matter of factly that she was waiting for her next dialysis. Docs had ruled then that only peritoneal cleansing every four hours, five times a day, could save her from renal poisoning, and only by a slim chance. But there she was, then only 10, talking like a grizzled veteran. Fr. Jerry and his listeners were stirred. He told her they just had to see each other soon. Fatima chuckled, “How can that be possible when I’m blind?” All the more the priest became determined to meet her. He was sure she’s godsend in his taxing job as Mission Director for the Society of Divine Word-Philippines.

They became instant friends. Fatima loved having someone other than her prayerful Catholic parents, Danny and Fely, to talk to about the Almighty Father and caring Mother Mary. Fr. Jerry was awed to learn in that first meeting that she led her neighborhood’s nightly Rosary prayer. “Even street urchins would join,” he recalled. More personal, he said, the sickly little girl “made Mama Mary so alive” for a Marian devotee like him. “Fatima would converse with the Blessed Mother,” he explained, “and then relay to me what was said, and these would always come true.” He cited as example a speaking tour to Vancouver, when their visas had not arrived by the end of work hours Friday yet their flight was early Sunday. Through Fatima he was assured everything would turn out all right and it did: the courier not only did deliver the travel documents in time for the flight, but their party even got upgraded to better cabin. “Mama Mary is mostly happy, sometimes sad (because of her children’s behavior), but never angry” is how she described her to him.

After Fatima spoke on hope in Fr. Jerry’s televised Sunday Masses, the media took notice. ABS-CBN’s Maalaala Mo Kaya produced a biopic for television, and entertainment and counsel shows couldn’t get enough of her. How could a girl who had gone through painful treatments for ten months, on the brink of death at a tender age, be so full of joy and infectious faith? The answer remained in Fatima’s purity and innocence. For many she personified the Gospel line: “Unless you become like a child, you cannot enter the kingdom of heaven” (Matthew 18:3). A text brigade raised P1.2 million in 2004 to help in kidney transplant. A 23-year-old donor was found with 90 percent compatibility. Still, doctors worried that the donor’s adult arteries and veins would riskily not match Fatima’s smaller blood vessels. But during surgery they turned out to be a perfect fit.

After that experience under the knife, Fatima struggled to be a choir singer. Her fragile lungs and delicate recovery wouldn’t allow it at first. But she prayed for help in her dream. Early this year Fr. Jerry came out with a CD of inspirational songs. Two of the cuts, “Falling Star” and “You’re in My Heart,” were written and sung by her. Two others, written by Fr. Jerry but sung by Fatima too, “Believe Like a Child” and (My Suffering Is) My Offering”, speak about her and others like her with unwavering faith in God and know how to let go for His greater glory. The Catholic Mass Media Awards adjudged their work the Most Inspiring Album of 2007.

Last June during a second trip to Vancouver her parents noticed a heart-shaped red mark appear on Fatima’s lower lip. It seemed like a wound, but Fatima told them not to worry for it was a token given her by the Blessed Mother. Two days later they witnessed something strange during the Mass. People in the church whom Fatima touched would fall on the ground unhurt but “slain in the Spirit.” Fr. Jerry theorized that she had received the gift of healing. The devotees gave testimonies of ailments suddenly vanishing. To verify, Fr. Jerry took Fatima to Naju, Korea, to meet visionary Julia Kim, who proclaimed Fatima is the real thing.

Strange that God would bring into the midst of Filipino devotees and doubters a visionary who is blind at birth. But it is perhaps in the irony that they will sit up and take notice. I couldn’t believe when I met Fatima that a child barely as high as my chest could “fell” adults. But I saw, I experienced. I queried Fatima about her “work” Does she not get drained healing? Talking like an adult, she said no and explained that Mama Mary counsels her to pray to avoid negative vibes. Does she know colors? “Only a few,” she said, because of her handicap. “They tell me that red is hot like fire, blue is like water, and isn’t green a male color?” So what is the color of Mama Mary’s hair? “Sorry, sir, I don’t know,” she apologized, then smiled, “But she’s with us now, she’s always with us.” Tilting her head back as if to listen, she adds, “She says hi.”

Chemotherapy *info*

AFTER YEARS OF TELLING PEOPLE CHEMOTHERAPY IS THE ONLY WAY TO TRY AND ELIMINATE CANCER, JOHNS HOPKINS IS FINALLY STARTING TO TELL YOU THERE IS AN ALTERNATIVE WAY .

Cancer Update from Johns Hopkins

1. Every person has cancer cells in the body. These cancer cells do not show up in the standard tests until they have multiplied to a few billion. When doctors tell cancer patients that there are no more cancer cells in their bodies after treatment, it just means the tests are unable to detect the cancer cells because they have not reached the detectable size.

2. Cancer cells occur between 6 to more than 10 times in a person's lifetime.

3. When the person's immune system is strong the cancer cells will be destroyed and prevented from multiplying and forming tumours.

4. When a person has cancer it indicates the person has multiple nutritional deficiencies. These could be due to genetic, environmental, food and lifestyle factors.

5. To overcome the multiple nutritional deficiencies, changing diet and including supplements will strengthen the immune system.

6. Chemotherapy involves poisoning the rapidly-growing cancer cells and also destroys rapidly-growing healthy cells in the bone marrow, gastro-intestinal tract etc, and can cause organ damage, like liver, kidneys, heart, lungs etc.

7. Radiation while destroying cancer cells also burns, scars and damages healthy cells, tissues and organs.

8. Initial treatment with chemotherapy and radiation will often reduce tumor size. However prolonged use of chemotherapy and radiation do not result in more tumor destruction.

9. When the body has too much toxic burden from chemotherapy and radiation the immune system is either compromised or destroyed, hence the person can succumb to various kinds of infections and complications.

10. Chemotherapy and radiation can cause cancer cells to mutate and become resistant and difficult to destroy. Surgery can also cause cancer cells to spread to other sites.

11. An effective way to battle cancer is to starve the cancer cells by not feeding it with the foods it needs to multiply.

WHAT CANCER CELLS FEED ON:

a. Sugar is a cancer-feeder. By cutting off sugar it cuts off one important food supply to the cancer cells. Sugar substitutes like NutraSweet, Equal,Spoonful, etc are made with Aspartame and it is harmful. A better natural substitute would be Manuka honey or molasses but only in very small amounts. Table salt has a chemical added to make it white in colour. Better alternative is Bragg's aminos or sea salt.

b. Milk causes the body to produce mucus, especially in the gastro-intestinal tract. Cancer feeds on mucus. By cutting off milk and substituting with unsweetened soy milk, cancer cells are being starved.

c. Cancer cells thrive in an acid environment. A meat-based diet is acidic and it is best to eat fish, and a little chicken rather than beef or pork. Meat also contains livestock antibiotics, growth hormones and parasites, which are all harmful, especially to people with cancer.

d. A diet made of 80% fresh vegetables and juice, whole grains, seeds, nuts and a little fruits help put the body into an alkaline environment. About 20% can be from cooked food including beans. Fresh vegetable juices provide live enzymes that are easily absorbed and reach down to cellular levels within 15 minutes t o nourish and enhance growth of healthy cells. To obtain live enzymes for building healthy cells try and drink fresh vegetable juice (most vegetables including bean sprouts) and eat some raw vegetables 2 or 3 times a day. Enzymes are destroyed at temperatures of 104 degrees F (40 degrees C).

e. Avoid coffee, tea, and chocolate, which have high caffeine. Green tea is a better alternative and has cancer-fighting properties. Water-best to drink purified water, or filtered, to avoid known toxins and heavy metals in tap water. Distilled water is acidic, avoid it.

12. Meat protein is difficult to digest and requires a lot of digestive enzymes. Undigested meat remaining in the intestines become putrified and leads to more toxic buildup.

13. Cancer cell walls have a tough protein covering. By refraining from or eating less meat it frees more enzymes to attack the protein walls of cancer cells and allows the body's killer cells to destroy the cancer cells.

14. Some supplements build up the immune system (IP6, Flor-ssence, Essiac, anti-oxidants, vitamins, minerals, EFAs etc.) to enable the body's own killer cells to destroy cancer cells. Other supplements like vitamin E are known to cause apoptosis, or programmed cell death, the body's normal method of disposing of damaged, unwanted, or unneeded cells.

15. Cancer is a disease of the mind, body, and spirit. A proactive and positive spirit will help the cancer warrior be a survivor. Anger, unforgiveness and bitterness put the body into a stressful and acidic environment. Learn to have a loving and forgiving spirit. Learn to relax and enjoy life.

16. Cancer cells cannot thrive in an oxygenated environment. Exercising daily, and deep breathing help to get more oxygen down to the cellular level. Oxygen therapy is another means employed to destroy cancer cells.

My Dream

I have this dream that really bothers me. I wonder what it means.

"In this dream, my friends and I are going to the mall. I suddenly decided to buy a bird. My friends accompanied me to the pet store. I was amazed. The pet store has several birds to choose from. It took me hours to select one. I chose a small cute bird. I called it tweety. I put it on my finger and it suddenly flew away. It flew to different places in the mall. It flew to places I even't couldn't reach. So I had a hard time catching that bird. I asked help from my friends but they are just standing there watching me try to catch that bird. I never minded them. I just went to catch that bird. I chase him around the mall in circles. I even tripped and fell. I jumped high to reach for that bird but to no prevail. I crouched into places that I would never go in real life just to catch that bird. Finally, the bird got tired and went back to the pet store. I, covered in bruises, finally caught that bird. My dream ends here."

I keep wondering what my dream means. Maybe it's trying to tell me that my friends won't be there for me when I need help. Or maybe I will need to persevere to reach my dreams independently without any help from anybody.
